THE PROPHECY OF THE PEOPLE OF THE AMAZON

Profezia1.jpg

The Achuar people of the Amazon rainforest live in intimate connection with Nature. They have a prophecy that is handed down from father to son.

Humanity has two wings, that of the eagle and that of the condor.
The eagle's wing is the masculine one, that of the mind, of strength, of insensitivity and of dominion over Man and Nature. The eagle's wing has always flown open since its origin.
The condor's wing is the female one, that of the heart, of peace, of intuition, of empathy and of harmony between Man and Nature. The condor's wing has not opened yet.

In this disharmony, humanity is spiraling down further and further with only the eagle's wing unfolded, and with the condor’s wing desperately trying to stretch out to keep it afloat.
The prophecy states that in this decade the condor's wing will also begin to open. For the first time, humanity will be able to soar and fly straight in the sky, in balance and in union with Nature.

According to the prophecy, the driving force will be munay, an action word meaning love.
Nothing to do with pink clouds and little hearts. Instead, a strongly concrete proactive drive, aligned and allied with Nature and with Her intelligence.
A love intertwined with willpower, which draws on the very vital energy that animates the universe and reflects the perfect balance that reigns in the natural world.

A force that comes from within, where the sacredness of one's conscience lives. A force that protects the dignity of human nature.

During my last trip to the Andes in 2017 - almost 5 (thousand) years ago - for a series of coincidences I learned the meaning of the word munay, which then, for this very reason, gave its name to the publishing house. The books that followed were conceived by drawing on this source.

I experienced the most powerful moment of that trip in the place of the image above - recently awarded at the World Nature Photography Awards. It’s been taken in Argentina among pumice stone monoliths that are the result of volcanic eruptions of about 15 million years ago.
In the book You are Nature I write: "In the two days spent in this surreal landscape, spending the night under the stars and walking barefoot on the dark volcanic sand, I felt myself as an integral part of the place as if I were the rock, the sand, the mountain, the sky".

The coldest time of the day is usually the one before sunrise. In this critical moment for humanity, for the dawn of this new era to become the first ray of light, I believe each one of us should feel as an essential "piece of the puzzle", united with the others for the well-being of the whole organism of which we belong.

And then the eagle and the condor will have learned to fly together in the same sky, creating a new level of consciousness for humanity.
